Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko(AAUA) Shuts down against students protest.
Authority Bodies of Adekunle Ajasin University,Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, have shut temporarily shut down the institution following the protest by students over the decision of the Management to impose the POLICY ‘NO PAYMENT OF TUITION, NO TEST/NO EXAMINATION’.
Durring the protest on Wednesday, The angry students in their multiples disrupted all Academic activities on the campus of the university. It was gathered that the students also stopped the ongoing continuous assessment tests and sent all the students out of the classrooms.
A press statement was signed by the University’s Registrar, Dr. Sunday Ayeerun indicates that “all students of the university are, therefore advised to proceed on the Mid-Semester break with Immediate effect”.
The statement concludes that the studentsare to resume on Monday, May 20, 2019.
